My current KP more than meets my DSLR needs, I've been using Pentax cameras since 1980 with my ME. I have way too much invested in APSC Pentax lens to change to FF, besides I like smaller form factor. I even use a Sony A6500 for travel for it's even smaller form factor.

Nice, we have many more than just listed the ones that use digital cameras, all Pentax of course, but then most of those are old ones of mine which they then use. In total we have two sons and a daughter, a daughter and son-in-law, eleven grandchildren, 6 girls, 5 boys, a new great granddaughter and a grandson-in-law. Thanksgiving and Christmas are BIG at our house. LOL

I prefer color or something different to what people are using. Whether it's, cameras, automobiles, you name it, I'm also a old fashion guy at the same time. With the except for my silver KP, my last three Pentax cameras were white, K-x, K-2s & K-01. Even my first Sony mirrorless was silver instead of blah black. It's also for practical reasons as well, easier to spot misplaced things, not that I would have any experience with that. LOL
Also people are sheep and just follow the crowd, if someone was looking for cameras, they never think of Pentax, they go with what "pros" use because then their photos will be just as good. We did an Alaskan cruise one year and because of the weather, I upgrade my K-x to the 2s and made sure the lens I brought were WR. We were on a whale watching boat excursion, of course my white APS-C DSLR with the rather rather small APS-C telephoto lens stood out to all of the high end big name full frame DSLR and honking zooms. But when the whale starting breeching and shooting water in the air, who was the only one shooting in high frame rate and shooting in a mode rather than auto. I even heard someone say behind me, "Now that is a professional camera", I just laughed to myself. It's not the equipment it's how one knows how to use it.

I can certainly understand that. I prefer the not to use the tradition all black in anything, be a smart phone, automobile or camera, but I've always tend to march of my own drummer. For practical reasons, especially for smaller objects with includes cameras, I prefer anything that sticks out as I have a tendency to leave things behind. :o

Rifleman.
I have always leaned into the firearm while shooting and the technic follows me with cameras.

That's what makes us special, I prefer to march to the beat of my own drum, that's why I use a Pentax white DSLR :)
