A fully-mobile android workflow - any ideas?

Since you will have access to electricity on occasion when you head off the trail for supplies and laundry, wouldn't an ultra book still work? At least as a place to download photos till you have time to sort and edit them. Like while doing laundry maybe? Surface tablet is a real computer and weighs less than 2 pounds without the keyboard. Maybe an option.
