Not exactly pets, but they feel like it. These squirrels are growing very inquisitive of the wife and I. |

Thanks for the comments all.
Presto, I'm sorry to hear about your Sheltie, not being able to be there had to be painful.
Siren developed a brain tumor. We had her thoroughly checked out by our vet and specialist. The consencesses was not to put her through any kind of surgery at her age, the odds were stacked against her. So, they gave us a 6 month window and told us any extra time was bonus (She lasted 7 months). So we slowly watched her crash. Each seizure took away portions of her brain function until the last seizure on the 3rd of July finished her (it was a back to back episode), her brain capacity seemed to drop to an all time low and her equilibrium was shot, we had no choice at that point.
I have never been as close to a pet as I was with Siren. She was the best family dog we ever owned.

OK, I'm going to post a few pics I posted in the past.
This is in memory of my female Brindle Boxer "Siren". We had to put her down July 3, 2020, she was 9.5 years old.
Our hearts are broken. R.I.P baby girl.
This was her last photo about 1 month ago. |

I wish I would have hit the focus with this one. I missed on the eye's slightly.
