Nice, I own the EL and that camera is built like a tank. Your EL2 should support a winder, my EL is simply hand cranked, but it is one of my favorite oldies from the Nikon line although it tends to suck up battery juice quick. The battery compartment being under the mirror is a non-issue, as the mirror lock-up makes it a breeze. If you have large hands simply craft a small plastic picker and you have the battery out in a jiff. Nice grab! I hope you post a few pics of the rig.
Here' mine with the 1.4 Chrome Nose: ---------- Post added 10-17-20 at 03:23 PM ---------- OK, all my stuff has come in.
2 Nikon N60's, 2 Quantaray lenses, 1 Nikon N4004s plus a Nikon 35 -70mm 3.3, and 1 Nikon N6006.
Everything works as it should with the exception of the 4004s which arrived with a corroded battery compartment and the camera was D.O.A, but the lens was nearly perfect, so the deal worked out in the long run.

I purchased a Nikon N60 with 2 Quantaray lenses (28-80mm & 100-300mm) plus a fairly decent camera bag - 20.00 USD on ebay, I also landed a N65 from different seller - body 15.00USD, seller sent me a N60 instead, but fully refunded me and told me to keep the camera. Both cameras appear to be fully functional. I have loaded one with some expired film and this time I will take my time and do a proper shoot.
I'll post some photos as soon as my Nikon 4004s and N6006 arrive. This way i can set up and shoot the lot.

Cokin is still alive and kicking. They have a line-up of Cokin NUANCES Extreme ND filters. I have a Cokin P holder system but very few useful Cokin filters. :(

I own the BP 250 AW II, I find it to be a great pack. I hope you enjoy that 400 as much as I enjoy the 250. :)

Here's a little something I grabbed on eBay dirt cheap. Fully functional and clean as new. Not the best camera ever made, that's for sure, but it is light and quite easy to use, although it appears it may be a bit fragile. If I dropped it I'm afraid it may shatter. :-) |

I'm not an expert on manufacturing, but I do not think the same factories were shared by Fujica and Canon. There are quite a few cosmetic difference between the the AE-1 and AX-3.

Here's the photo I promised of the AX-3. The camera arrived in an 8 of 10 cosmetic condition, and appears to be fully functional. I tested the meter against my hand held unit and it looks like the Fujica's meter matches very close for the most part. Next step is loading it up and taking a small hike.
Loaded a new image, it should be a bit better than the first i posted. |

Well, eBay gave me another terrific deal. 12.00 USD plus 8.75 shipping and I received a fully working Fujica AX-3 with an X-Fujinon 1.9 50mm FM lens, plus an old school hippy strap. I'll post pics asap. I just found it in my mailbox this evening.

OK, my Minolta XG-M arrived today. This camera and lens looks brand freaking new, even the protective film on bottom plate looks unmarred. I tossed some batteries in her and did a quick check of meter and everything thing seems to check out as of now. The XG-M is the flagship of the XG line, the X-700 used the same basic body as the M.
I also received a Minolta flash that is not pictured. It was a steal of a deal @ 20.00 USD. Thanks eBay! minolta xg-m by Kevin, on Flickr

I shoot film quite often, so I started collecting film cameras about 10 years ago. I recently started collecting Minolta's.

Yes, I have a version of the SX with that lip filed off. I bought the lens from my neighbor for 10.00 US, he did a hack job filing it down but the lens worked fine.

It's a 55mm not a 50mm. I now own 2 copies of that lens being that I just purchased a 1st generation XG-1 also mounted with same lens. I'm just waiting for new purchase to reach my door. Pics will go up when it get's here.

I picked up a Minolta XG-1 second generation of the model. I have had it about 3 months and have yet to run a roll through her. I did just load up with some Kodak 100, now to find the time to drag her around. Minolta XG-1 ( Fujinon EBC 55mm Macro ) by Kevin, on Flickr
