All your work with this combination are superb. Have you tried it for milky way shots?
I wish there was a WR version of this lens. Like the Irix lenses.

The FA20 is mostly the same as the A20 AFAIK (both 2.8, one 6, the other 5 blades, haven't heard about an F version). The M20 is a completely different design, aperture, filter thread, rendering, bokeh (there's some, mostly at MFD wife open).

Yes, I'm shooting film until I can get my hands on a K-1. I was hoping my b&w contrast and DA15 filters could also work on the M20 (regular B+W F-Pro CPL and ND 3.0). So I guess it's either one or the other.
I'm well aware of the banding on the sky from polarized light coming at 90° from the sun. It's just for saturation or glare control on big foregrounds like you mentioned. Was crossing my fingers not having to carry the big Lee filters. I have a few for my medium format lenses, but was thinking the FA50/1.4 and this one would make for such a compact kit.

I just got an M20 for a good price. It's on its way in the mail now. Let's hope it's a good copy, that the seller's description is accurate, and that he disclosed everything wrong with it. At least he's got a 100% rating as a seller.
I'm planning on using my 49mm polarizer and/or 1000ND filter. What's your experience with the use of filters on this compact gem? Does it vignette easily?
Any insight you can give me/us, @northcoastgreg ?
