Mine only gets used occasionally as a knockabout. I still love it though. I just don't get the buzz that I get from the limiteds

I have spent ages shooting with limiteds in single in challenges (the latest being the 20-40mm limited) and sometimes you need a break from the pressure of a photo per day. What better to use than the 18-135 on the K3. It is such an easy lens to live with and it holds up very nicely.

Doing a sic with the 55-300mm and this thread inspired me to get the 18-135mm out on the KPand give it some love.

I couldn't agree more. I often wonder if these users bother to calibrate the lens. I do that with every one before first use and it can make a huge difference. I also find, when I am doing a sic it takes three or four days with a new lens before the magic happens. The 18-135 delivers tremendous results. The colours and contrasts are nice. it is plenty sharp enough for general use and is capable of delivering superb images. I will never sell mine because it is the perfect companion for when I go out with no plan other than to carry a camera and see what I get.

Lovely shots Norm
These cracking images are a prime example of why I shake my head when people dismiss this lens. Mine is wonderful and these pictures are sharp and colourful! Honestly, what's not to love?

We get pink footed geese here, by the thousand. They land on the lee of a hill, just by some houses. I bet the people in the houses love them :D

Kudos :) the 18-135mm is superb. When I was just doing the daily in it featured an awful lot. It is such a flexible walk around, capable of belters like your cover story :)

Have you tried it? I ignored it for ages then realised it has been designed for sunsets and sunrises. It really brings out the other colours.

These are glorious. Getting so sharp on the gull is really well done and the sea colour is virtually Mediterranean :)
