if you are really into it, you can purchase solder in pins used for surface mount press contact connectors, they are all contained spring contact pins about 1.5-2.0mm long, and you drill and insert it into the mount where the A pin is located.
then you need to polish off the paint / anodizing from the T2 mount to make contact to the camera mount base.
the only risk is the pin is similar in size to the dreaded roicoh pin and it can get caught in the AF drive if you are not careful and keep the release button depressed for both install and remove
