Wandering around the ruins of Pompeii today, I spied a silver K20D! Europe seems to have a greater uptake than elsewhere. ---------- Post added 30th Sep 2014 at 01:29 AM ---------- ...and, while visiting the lovely old city at Kotor in Montenegro last week, these chaps were happily mixing camera brands, as well as footwear.
The one that isn't a Nikon is a K-7/5/3 (I wasn't close enough to distinguish) with what looks like a Sigma Art lens of some sort.

Well, this Pentax user walked right in front of me near the Ponte Degli Scalzi in Venice, today:
He's not been the only one I've seen, in the last two weeks while I've been touring the Greek Islands, including a fellow enthusiast toting a Q7 (complete with 08 lens) who happened to be sitting right next to my wife at a dance exhibition on Crete! He had left the K-3 in his cabin on the cruise ship.
Of course, we're in the minority, but I haven't spotted one Sony A7 or Fujifilm XT-1 so far - tourists with D800s and the like abound, with few of them mounting hoods on their expensive lenses.
