Wearing spectacles and getting a clear image through a viewfinder eyepiece is something of a compromise. The main issues, dependent on the actual viewfinder, are seeing the entire viewfinder image (which is a matter of eye relief, ie the distance your eye needs to be from the eyepiece) and shielding your eye from stray light.
When my main cameras were the K-5 and K-3, I used the Tenpa magnifier, which gave me a larger viewfinder image, albeit at the expense of a little dimming. The larger eyepiece hood provided good shielding from stray light when I took my specs off to use it, which I had to do to see the entire viewfinder image. It was also more comfortable to use when working with my specs off, because the added distance meant I didn't have to turn my head so much, to avoid contact with the LCD screen.
Since taking up the K-1, I find that I can work more easily with the eyepiece whilst still keeping my specs on. I do wonder if its eyepiece has greater eye relief than with previous models, but the viewfinder appears to be brighter than its predecessors', so it may just be that I can see the viewfinder image more easily, and don't have the need for a magnifier as a result. Keeping my specs on also keeps my face away from the LCD screen, so again I don't have to turn my head as much to get close to the eyepiece. Of course, the compromise now is shielding my eye from stray light, but as I said, it's always a compromise of one sort or another.
