I shot 2 rolls of expired Centuria, about same dates of expiration... Yep, both are almost identical in the color shift and yellowing. It is nice for summer/autum shooting. Do not know how it would be for winter shots

I know!! I came across it recently, within a camera bag from a recent purchase. I was all excited about it, did the research and yep... not going to use it for it to be developed monochrome (I asked a lab I use, and they referred me to some folks that do this with this kind of film).
It will be displayed at home, until some braver soul runs across it.

This was my excuse to get a 44k-4 :cool:... Oddly enough I like better the results I got off of a borrowed 44M-4 (with M42/PK) than my 44k-4.
The 44M-4 was a Valdai
My 44K-4 is a KMZ (just like this 44-2 - I also have a second 44-2 that is a Valdai)

Thank you - apparently it is a quality of the 44-2's, the swirly bokeh.... this is actually one of my first shots achieving such result....
Due to the way the mount/barrel is designed, the 44-2s in my opinion fit better in SLRs; without the use of the M42/PK adapter... a small gap between the lens base and where the adapter sits is visible when using M42/PK adapters (even the OEM adapter).

I recently took mine out of the bag (hadn't use it in months). Will shoot with it for a few weeks. One day has elapsed, and I am really happy!

Sweet deal - I did not pay much for mine either... it is an under-the-radar lens, doesn't get the attention of the 50/1.4's, but it performs!

My K 55/1.8 has a very similar bump on the filter ring, just like yours... same spot!

When I first started (not long ago) to host from flckr I used to get the "no image" post... you gotta use the BBCode - otherwise, nada.
