I had to read up on what a view camera was. Could you explain in more detail how you used the window with a nylon sheet? Trying to understand how your set up works. For just playing around that pic looks pretty damn cool!;)

Pentax 6x7 150mm f2.8 Kodak Ektar 100
After putting on dual custom grips on my "new" 6x7 last year, I finally started using it. Used my 1965 Chevy for practice.

As much as I like your photo, it must have been a great experience to actually be there and see that view...really cool with the clouds covering what lies below, and the snow capped mountains....awesome.

I posted both to show what I did with a side by side. I was not trying to offend you, and I can see how it can be taken that way by me posting an altered shot of the photo, which is like me saying " hey this looks better" it was more of a friend saying those pesky cables are in the view of a great shot.

My apologies for not asking first, all I did was remove the power lines or gondola cables that were in the image. There was the option to download the image on flickr, so that is what I did to do the removal. I have not used the altered photo anywhere else, just posted it on here as I thought it was a great shot.

Its a bummer when you can't always show full image quality. My wife just happened to walk by me and saw the photo and said "that black and white photo looks really good". I then explained that the photo was taken with the same model of camera that I just got shipped from Japan:)

I really like the second shot tuco, those guys look like they are good pals. What is the resolution on that one at your highest scan?
The largest for that shots says 1024x814, so just wondered if there was a higher rez file.

I like both the color and B&W of the same shot, gives a whole different mood with each, and the third shot, the cloud looks like a giant creature opening up to feast:D
