I apologize. I just noticed that you stated that review could be turned off. I actually knew that, and my question has nothing to do with review, but rather on a prospective image. Thank you for your reply.

I first noticed this on a K 50 that I was preparing for sale. I then tried it on a K 70 that I had upgraded too and noticed the same thing.

I have been a Pentax user for some time but never used reset on a newer DSLR. The thing that I noticed is that when receiving a new camera, an image is viewable in both the viewfinder and LCD screen. After using reset I noticed that this is no longer the case, that the LCD screen only shows the image if LiveView is pressed. Is this normal?
