Sorry, I wasn't about to trawl through a 240-thread forum to find an appropriate place to reply ... I'll just say that whilst the image quality is quite adequate, especially given it's age, I always found having the focus control all the way down the front of the lens to be a bit of an inconvenient stretch, especially if shuffling between zoom control and focus to find a moving subject and frame before fine focussing :)

Unfortunately my only first-hand experience with an Adaptall (not -2) lens is with my beloved 200-500mm f/6.9 and I made the mistaken assumption that any others of a similar vintage would only have a single slot for the coupling "ears" on the Adaptall-2 adaptors and consequently wouldn't work with open-aperture metering :o
My mistake!

Do note that the Tamron 135mm f/2.8 is the earlier Adaptall (not Adaptall-2), which isn't fully functional with the PKA adaptor. The lens you are looking for is the 135mm f/2.5 (Model 03B).
I have several 135mm lenses and enjoy them all, but the Tamron has the advantages of close-focussing, as near as 4ft., (1.2m) and a built-in lens hood.
Enjoy :)
