Thank you! I was able to figure it out the other day. The latch is similar to the K-5's which I was able to find instructions for online. I only needed to lower the screen in order to blow away some lodged dust particles that got trapped between the screen and the prism.

Sorry to dredge up an old thread, but referring to the first post showing the focus screen frame hinged downwards; how exactly is that done? The center "latch" does not appear to be the one holding the frame up.
