:lol: it is a beverage company here, Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd.
fun fact:
1889: Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. was founded. (A company logo in the lantern)
1919: Asahi Kōgaku Kōgyō G.K. was founded (It has nothing to do with Asahi Group Holdings mentioned above)
1938: Asahi Kōgaku Kōgyō G.K. becoming Asahi Kōgaku Kōgyō K.K. or Asahi Optical Co. (The original Pentax parent company)
1940: Omoide Yokocho (the alley and surrounding area in the photo) started out as a black market after World War II

K3 DA21, this alley used to be packed with people before the pandemic. Most stores are closed in compliance to the state of emergency when I was there 3 weeks ago.

Thank you very much. The green and (perhaps) blue light too.. :lol: I was in fact didn't look at the scene at all after finish set up my gear. I was enjoying look at the sunset and sky while let the camera take the photos on a tripod.
I think it is the lamp Taxi here using, see image below. it comes in many shape and color.

K3 M135 on a road in front of Tokyo Imperial palace which was back in the late 80s to mid 90s at the peak of Japanese bubble, the around 3.5 square Kilometers of land the Palace sit on were worth as much as the state of California!

K3 and DA*55 wait about an hour for an interesting looking car to stop there. Almost give up because it was a kind of cold, winter night.
DA21 is a better lens for this but I only have the 55 mm with me so I did 3 image landscape orientation and stitch them together to make a large portrait orientation image for my Instagram post.

Yes, just have to make sure the moon is not behind heavily light polluted areas and after a little of postprocessing that is a photo taken the same night in Tokyo.

K3 DA21 smc for everything but the moon.
I photoshop in the moon because there were a moon at that spot but as you know moon from DA21 looks just like a large hot-pixel! So I use M135 to capture the moon and photoshop does the rest.
by the way, I use a black-mist filter too.

K3 and DA10-17 at 10mm.
Shoot in a hurry Green mode and I hardly get an auto setting I like from my K3 when shoot during sunset to nighttime. it picks 1/40sec and ISO640 for me instead of make it a lower ISO setting in exchange for slower shutter speed for 10 mm. Anyway I need to be more careful with the setting next time.

K3 and DA10-17 (starburst looks as ugly as always!)
They are 3 roads full of flower like this. I am shooing from the intersection where the 3 roads meet. Long exposure when shooting tree is not an ideal but I only have time after work to go there.
