Yes, I realize that, having already read this whole thread (and similar) with hopeful expectations... I still feel rather dismayed that a mock up (as I called it in my earlier post) keeps getting batted around for many pages and I'm still left wondering... where IS the news on "the K-3ii" replacement project?
Brand centennials happen but once.

It saddens me that there are all these cosmetically enhanced mock-ups of the KP floating around and not a peep (that I've heard) of a K3ii replacement, something many of us have been waiting for for a few years now. I don't care what they call it... KPii, K3 Centennial, K3 Evo, K3iii, whatever... but get me something NEW in APS-C with GPS, astrotracer and wifi built in (ideally with a new, improved app!), as well as the articulated screen (something like the KP or K1), WITH IR sensors, and I'll send in my check for a pre-order tomorrow. Sure, I'll take customizable grips, but put two card slots in it too ;)
