Just got my hands on this bad boy yesterday. I got to use it for a short while in-between storms that were rolling through Oklahoma. Sharp as a knife, even at 450mm. Colors right out of camera are fantastic too. I took this shot for a blog post of mine over at thepentaxpioneer.com. The lens can certainly be used handheld and I nailed some good shots with it that way, but it really sings when it is placed on a tripod. I used it with my Fotopro Eagle Series EGL-65 and gimbal head. I cannot wait to get out and use it some more.

Thanks so much. Oh for sure. I have my eyes on a few things right now, including some of the APS-C bodies.. Will be great to have a smaller backup body. There are so many awesome bodies and lenses to grab :lol:
