The problem with the adaptation is, perhaps obviously, that it wouldn't work with anything but a bellows or extension tube, really, so it doesn't seem anyone makes em. I think you do just have to resort to a combination of adapters,
Canon FD macro stuff still gets good money, it seems: I guess *that* must adapt OK to EF or something, though. I went looking a couple years ago, thinking, 'Hey, I bet these things are pretty cheap, now. Sooner or later scientist sweetie is gonna want some macro done...'
I was somewhat incorrect, there. :)
Still shooting my old Canons for most of my film stuff, though. I haven't been a very avid macro shooter, but I figure I'll end up using the digital for that, now that I have my K20d, anyway, given the likely purpose.
I do have a notion that it might just be possible to find a pair of teleconverters made by the same manufacturer, with the same size of front flanges, then you could switch them and pop the glass out. Or attach a Canon mounting flange from one onto a K-mount adapter (like maybe a T or screw mount) with some screws or some such.
