No harm in waiting unless the offer is about to expire. That said, you mentioned that you can use Pentax glass with the Sigma? Well, hell yeah! I'd definetly go for it if but only if the Sigma has been field proven. If i were you i'd definelty do some research on the Sigmas results before you make a decision.

EDIT: Well i just found out its 14mp Interpolated, i definelty would advise you to wait unless you have no intention to print past 8X10.
