Happy to see this post!:) I bought this lens a couple of months ago and forgot I even had it. I shoot almost 99% with my Bigma 50-500, so other lenses get little action....certainly no reflection on this lens!
You will love it, it is a great lens and at a real bargain price too!:):) I have used it only a little, but enough to know it is a fine lens!
Just took off the Bigma to "monkey around" a minute with the Rokinon 85mm at f1.4 You can use it with great results at f1.4.but it is tricky.......1.4 is always tricky!
Some monkey business at f1.4.
K1 FF shot cropped/resized for posting. Minor sharpening and it would be plenty good enough for the monkey! :)

For some great portrait work this lens would excel. Past 1.4 it gets really easy to use and produces nice results with little effort.
