People are starting to expect way more then is healthy. With sales going down for the camera business, I guess Ricoh is going to play safe.....don't take to many risks. So expecting them to come with two new mirrorless mounts......Well seriously. ....that is not going to happen.

Sony stopped selling smartphones in Turkey recently. I think these things are happening in many countries these days.
It's also cheaper for the companies. The owners of their gear have no warranty to claim.
I don't think Pentax is strong in this grey market.

I do wonder where all those grey market articles are coming from. Are those all open boxes send back after an online sale?

Reality is that one of every 100.000 people are interested in a Pentax camera worldwide.
(Well that include the 1.3 billion people in India that can't buy a Pentax and then some other countries that either have no Pentax representation or their GDP per capita is to low to afford it)
Basicly all countries outside the top 50

I would say that if we don't hear anything about it on CP+ or Photokina. ......then we won't see it in 2019. That makes the waiting shorter, since it ends on may 11th.

Well at least he expresses that he hopes that it will be next year. No idea if that is due to not wanting to reveal anything, or not knowing if it would be happening in next year.
