Wolfiegirl, can't say I had that problem with my Tammie. It had to got to help pay for more exprensive macro lenses.
Anyway today we did our weekly market shopping. I have an ongoing project that means all my under 120mm lens get used on a rotational basis so today it was the turn of the Carl Zeiss Planar 85mm f1.4.

The flower is a sunflower, couldn't quite make up my mind on whether the grub or the flower should take centre stage.
Is that the Adaptall Tamron 90mm f2.5, had one of those for a while and a rather nice lens?

Lester Dine is PKA mount so you get the aperture control from the camera.
Now a macro that is quite nice in M42 is the Volna 9, 50mm f2.8, a lovely piece of Soviet technology I might add, but then I'm sure you have emough macros already.

Wolfiegirl, the lens was a Lester Dine 105mm f2.8 macro. The lens is also branded as a Series 1 Vivitar and a Kiron who made the lens.
Those bugs had taken a liking to the Norfolk Island hibiscus, a tree I knew as an itchy powder tree in my younger days, the fruit when crushed has all these tiny hairs in it, down someone's shirt, hit them on the back to crush the seed and one itchy person.

Wolfiegirl, thanks for hosting this week's POTW. You're doing fine, Sydney Harbour North Shore?
Some birds from today's stroll in the park.
