I intended to buy a 16-85 lens, but after reading about the multitude of quality control issues, I gave up. So the last purchase was the DA 40mm Limited lens, the SMC version, a few months ago. The Soviet Lenses MIR and Helios are not counted :) Given the current evolution of the photo market it is difficult to estimate which lenses / cameras are for the future.

Thanks. The lens is a very good companion for a slower zoom (like 18-135mm, for example) when there is little light and I need a fast lens. It takes up very little space, it fits in any pocket.

No, it is SMC DA 40mm F2.8. I already have Auto Revuenon 45 / 2.8, like a manual focus pancake lens.

Last purchases, 40mm pancake and x1.4 teleconverter. Used, but like new, not new things. I don't buy anything new from Ricoh until I realize in which direction they are going.
