Those are definitely at the top as is the new Nikon 24-70.
The 14-24 is macro sharpness in an UWA which is an amazing feat as well.

From what I've seen and read, the 70-200/4 deserves the L, but the 70-200/2.8 does not. The 2.8 is heavier, more expensive, and needs to be stopped down for better sharpness. In comparison the 70-200/4 is sharp wide open and lighter and cheaper. A lot of Canon folks seem to sell the 70-200/2.8 for the 70-200/4 after trying both...
