Underwater
I have just bought this underwater bag: DiCAPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case WP-S10 B&H Photo Video
It perfectly fits Pentax K-3 body and Sigma 10-20/4-5.6 EX lens.
Dicapac lens is of high optical quality made from polycarbonate, it is not glass, so polarizer filter can not to be used, it destroys image with colour artefacts.
Pentax should be switched on and everything must have be set, before inserting onto bag, because controll is possible, but not as easy, as with dedicated underwater housing (very expensive ones).
Setting is as follows:
ISO 640
f8 aperture
Aperture priority
Manual focus, set close to infinity, everything will be sharp, because of wide DOF
It is not easy to swimming in stream of abandoned danube menaders, water is not still, I was everytime moved out of place,
I would like to take picture. The camera must be held with both hands, I had no oxygen bottles, so I could take just few pictures and breathe, etc.
I was also wearing neoprene, because water was cold.
But finally, I have made it and was happy with perfect results. This year I plan another trip to these places, to take picture of water lillies.
