I tend to avoid those "clubs" since I will never be able to afford/justify buying any of those limited lenses ;) I guess I missed your posts in PYP too! I know where to find your shots now though :)
(I don't post in the M club anymore either..... I keep forgetting about that gem of a lens the M 85mm)

Looks vastly better than what you were getting with that nikon 35mm F/1.4 IMO :)
So how are all you cool cats doing, with your big bad full-frame monsters? :) Some of my favorite photographers on here dont even post outside of this thread it seems so I came to check in ;) See how you guys were doing :)

I believe I have taken my first FF looking images! By combining images taken @ F/1.2 to get a "wider" shot I get that certain look I crave. So if your subject is willing, not all hope is lost for us APSC users
18 image panorama @ 1.2 count
13 image pano
23
:)
*note: this is JUST a test. Nothing crazy, but it proves the concept is viable for us less fortunate $-wise to achieve that *look* ;)
edit: By the way, my computer has pretty much died on me and can not handle such large images so I cannot edit them to my normal standards. Picnik wont even open them on flickr so I can do a simple crop at least  Bare with the crappiness. My parents have promised me a desktop

Well I tried it, and failed quite badly.
There are so many settings to adjust, its quite overwhelming. I know my workflow on GIMP like the back of my hand, but this is completely foreign
It honestly took me an hour just to figure out how to save my edit O_o

Its going to take me atleast a month of heavy use to even become semi familiar. Any suggestions for lightroom?

I've always wondered how you got that awesome blue B&W look :) Very original
The lens does look quite fantastic from what I've seen, but odly enough I have no desire for it  This is despite the fact that 85mm is probably my favorite focal length on APSC. That siggy on the other hand :cool:
