gus thats a very interesting bokeh, so many circles almost looks like a special effect works well in those two shots its in, makes for a more interesting background. nice shots.
lidy: hope she will keep going strong for a long time to come

No new pets in 3 days
I grabbed a candid street shot of this dog, it was on a chair next to its owner who was eating and my friend was trying hard to get a shot of it but it was so focused on the food that it didnt turn its head at all, but I managed to get one as the owner picked it up to leave. Not the best shot, was at iso 800 and f2.8 and even then just got 1/20 and not really in focus either, hehe well it somehow turned out ok |

nope the first one was one of my parents neighbors, it kept escaping from them and turning up in my parents garden. I caught it with a carrot (its fat, hungry and slow) and took it through a photo shoot before returning it.
this one is my nieces, actually was my nieces as it sadly passed away shortly after those photos, I think a week or so. She has a new one now but I havent taken any pics of that one yet.
oh and actually, mimi is a he
speaking of mimi, I see you only got a rear shot of your mimi. time to bring out the 300mm ? or better yet the voigtlander 125

goes to show how good the output of a p&s can be if you do some lighting.

lol what a pose! Too bad the shot is a bit small, is it a crop?
The cat looks so human and because the way the white part of the fur seems to end in a v neck it looks kind of like its wearing clothing too and then just the paw is white as if its sticking out of the black jacket

actually we are far away, because after I read a tip on how to cope with the k7 mega rumor thread I changed my settings to show 75 posts per page so this is only page 25 in my browser :p
your photo, how did it become like that, the dogs head looks so huge compared to the body, must be the perspective :D

Nesster: Interesting to see a 645 shot, not only 645 but also film, very nice mood in the shot, looks classic

Another bump for this great ole thread. Typically when I see a dog on the street I dont have my camera in my hand ready to grab a shot before they are gone but in this case I did, this little fellah looked nice and friendly but after I grabbed a shot I wanted to lean down a bit since my zoom didnt go longer than 50mm but then he started barking at me... so this is what I got. |
