Thanks, and yes, you are absolutely right. These are more or less direct from Pentax DCU 4.40 except resizing and the BW conversion made there (camera setting BW), but I should have taken the time to remove those spots on her top. When you start to notice such things, they become very obvious.

So far, I have only shot B&W film with my P6x7 and more recently my 645N, and I don't have access to a proper negative scanner. I use a CanoScan 9000F flatbed scanner, but a proper negative scanner (costing more than 10 times as much) would yield better results. However, photos from each camera are so different that it is hard to make a comparison. That said, I enjoy shooting with the P6x7 and the P645N tremendously.

Images from the K20D (and the K-5) can look very good – I have made prints up to 24x16 inches with excellent sharpness. The K20D and lenses like the DA* 16-50 and the DA* 50-135 mm F2.8 can be lugged around pretty much everywhere and take all kinds or punishment. This image was taken handheld from the deck of a schooner with the the K20D and the DA* 50-135 @ F4.5 (108 mm), and it looks great printed at 24x16 inches. The crop shows the excellent sharpness. It would be hard to take a similar photo with the P6x7:

The P6x7 and 3-4 lenses take up a lot of space and will be quite heavy to lug around. So they are not in competition with each other, but complement each other quite well.
MF film for me is all about nostalgia and a slower, more careful workflow. Not spray and pray, but consider all options before pressing the shutter.
In my opinion, MF film is superior in one particular aspect – unbeatable dynamic range.

In "Post your medium format photos" I posted some images of old Norwegian churces (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-medium-format-645-6x7-645d/87027-p...ml#post2254482) taken with the S-M-C Takumar 67 75mm F4.5 on the Pentax 6x7 in black-and-white. For the sake of comparison, I post a couple of colour images taken with the DA* 16-50 F2.8 on the K20D.

The old church in Gaupne, Western Norway (built 1647)

Urnes stave church built around 1130-40 - one of the oldest of its kind and still stands at its original location. The northern portal is from an older church built on the same spot around 1060-70
