It's been a while since I posted in here. All taken with a Super Takumar 85 f1.9 @ f4.0 through f8.0 yesterday afternoon. |

Maximus! my cat deep in thought!
Ann (house party last night, she had just taken a picture of me) Super Taumar 85 f1.9
My uncle Paul, deep in thought
2 uncles (Pete and Paul), chewing the fat!
85 doing what it does best, portraits!, what a great face..., friend of the family, Brendan.
iso 400, forgot to reset after taking pictures at a party the night before :-( Super Takumar 35 f3.5
I took this out this morning for the first time at a friends place, the foal is only a few months old and all gangly, the yearling is a bit more of a poser. The backdrop is off the Galtee mountains. |

I got a double lba fix today
First up a chrome Takumar 135 f3.5, quite an esqusite piece of engineering, I'll put some photos of this up later on.
Then a few hours later a Super Takumar 50 f1.4 arrived with an Asahi Pentax Close-Up Lens No 1 attached, had to see what that did ;-) |

Thanks for the comments Blue :)
I think the 85 is a bit magic... the detail on some of those shots is awesome when seen at original size....

My 85 f1.9 is without doubt my go to lens for everything its seems. We went to the sea side yesterday
and then onto a place somewhat more sinister and wet and windy... |

Hi,
That was taken in the kitchen last night and the main light in there is one of those soft low power jobbies which gives a yellowish colour... still this might be a bit better
or in normal light outside
or perhaps better after a morning learning this particular len's habits |

If I may be so bold as to join your illustrious club ;)
Got my M42 adapter today and put it on the K20D and mounted a Super Takumar 85 1.9 bought recently from Jens.
First off, i'm in love with the colours:
Second, its pretty sharp and its generous with its bokeh
Third, its gives off an air of confidence and allows me to experiment |
