The DA15 has been collecting dust for a while after I got my K-1, but since there is no traveling these days, why not reprocess travel photos from 2019? Here's one from Orangerischloss in Potsdam near Berlin in Germany, from August 2019 (click for larger gallery version): |

One from the beach on Saturday. Difficult to process the colors here, I considered using B+W but ended up with this: Spring is coming! by Espen Vestre, on Flickr

From Sunday's walk to the beach with the DA15 and the DA35 Ltd. I shot some starbursts, but ended up liking this shot of a large tree and the blue sky best: Blue/green by Espen Vestre, on Flickr

The DA15 takes control of my flower closeups... not the smooth bokeh of the DA35Ltd, but an interesting change in perspective: Apple Blossoms by Espen Vestre, on Flickr

Hmm. The middle doesn't look 100% in focus to me, so it's a bit hard to tell at the reduced resolution. Maybe you could post it in full size? Also, you should try manually focusing and then take a number of shots with slightly different focus settings to see how they turn out. It might just be that you need to tune AF for this lens.

Edges are so-so, but I was quite satisfied with this shot @f/4 anyway (a little noisy since I used ISO 3200 on the K-5). But I have minimal experience with astrophotography, so I might be easily satisfied :) Maremma Nights by Espen Vestre, on Flickr

Wonderful shots of the Tatras! I didn't know they were that steep and tall.

Thanks, I'll try to experiment with that one day!
Somewhat off-topic: Now that the FF is out, what will control our minds in the future? I probably won't a gear budget big enough for the K-1 in the near future, but I'm pretty sure I will convert to FF eventually. And then I hope there will be a new compact "walk around wide angle" for the K-1. Maybe a re-release of the FA20? The 15-30 is a terrific lens, but I'm sure I wouldn't carry it around as much as I carry the K-5 with the DA15 around.

Takk skal du ha :)
That first shot also illustrates how tricky the curved focus field of the DA15 can be - despite @f/8, the background on both sides is OOF while most of the center area is in focus. But for scenes like this, it still works very well, and the contrast and flare control is excellent. And it's just amazing how easy it is to use the DA15 on the K-5 with SR to do shots like this (0.3 seconds exposure hand held - made it possible to capture the motion and keep ISO at 1000).

Wow, extremely nice light there! I think I'd crop it slightly though, the almost-but-not-quite center position of the sun is slightly disturbing.
