Thanks luftfluss seems to be the popular opinion.
:lol: whew good you know the instructions are avaiable online had me worried there
Thanks Tracy - I downloaded it and decided to take advantage of the special discount (it's on their website) of $29.00 I mean really what can $29.00 buy you today (after it goes to $59.00 ?) I figure if I use it for two prints it will have paid for itself. The way it interfaces to Lightroom via tfusionexpress as an external editior kinda sucks now as it will strip off the exif - however they are aware and working ion it, so hopefully soon.
Thanks Bob indeed I agree fishing in full living color would be better ;)

Thanks Ivan I wonder if I choose the classic with grain preset on that one.
Thanks Norm I thounght the sun was too overexposed I did not have much of chance to get more than one shot as the canoers were heading towards shore.
Thanks Charlie - I am surprised that appears to be the favorite. All subjective as I mentioned.
Thanks Dave I agree they all do look different enough. Thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Jim , yeah I gave it my best effort to get some ND Grads , however the state of Cokin is undertemined everbody has stuff on backorder (unsure if they are bankrupt or someone mentioned Kenko (Hoya ??) bought them out). Next are Lee filters which I did not want to commit to yet or hitech which would have no made it time I think (still pretty expensive). I did pick up some new CPL's though - it will be a race hopefuly they get here in time.
Thanks Francis - I have to ask when was the last time you saw a nuke going off

Another trip out last night to catch the sunset. There were two many low laying western clouds to make any exposures of merrit , but being how it was the lsat day of summer vacation for most , there were a lot of people out there.
I am still playing with the Topaz BW software - these are just presets , there are included tools to tweak to your hearts content, for now I am just experiementing with what they offer.
Here are three different takes on the same shot - do you have a preference ? (I know it's totatly subjective)
The original with some pp IMGP1506 by DaveYDaacon, on Flickr
This one (probably my favorite) is called Russet Russet-IMGP1506 by DaveYDaacon, on Flickr
Although I do like the standard Speia one as well Sepia-IMGP1506 by DaveYDaacon, on Flickr
