Went out for my 2nd walk with the Tamron 500 f/8 55B on Canada Day...for bright days I think I now prefer this lens over my Sigma 400mm f/5.6 APO Macro! :eek:
You also get fewer stares at the park when you're out with a Mirror lens. When people see the big 30cm long Sigma, they get paranoid. :)
These last two are taken with a Kenko 2x MC7 Teleconverter attached, not bad for a combination yielding 1000mm f/16. :)

Alrighty, I'm gonna enter the Mirror Lens Club with force!
I was browsing this thread for the last couple of days, lots of great pictures in this group, but I've always preferred the look of the Tamron shots.
I was about to pull the trigger on a Samyang 500 f/6.3 on ebay, yesterday, but first on a whim decided to go check out a classic camera shop in the city that I've never been to before...
He had a Tamron 500mm f/8 55B and all an adaptall adapter for every mount! I think I may have paid too much for it, but I quite like the results. :D
