It seems like it would be pretty easy to come up with a small k-mount attachment that would add manual aperture control to DA lenses. probably k-mount on one side, maybe a filter ring on the other, and the aperture control mechanism in the middle. It would help for off camera use or reversing, but not for film cameras without aperture control.
Anyway, I'm really liking my 35L. It's just a really well balanced all-around lens and a great value at the current prices.
