I am kind of covid isolated at my parents' home in the north of the North Island New Zealand and this shrub ( I didn't know the name) is in the garden - has been flourishing with minimal attention for years. Only as the winter weather bites have the petals taken on the spoon look - over summer and autumn the flowers were fuller and more daisy like. |

There is a native bee hive just near the front veranda so this is a very shallow dof image taken through the insects as they come and go - they are harmless but numerous. k3 SMC 50/1.4 at 1.4
The pink is our roads and roadsides as we have a large percentage of Bauxite in our soil - locally known as 'red dust country'. hence the red tinge to the roofing in the background.
