Thanks for the heads up mate.
They shouldn't be rare, but they are hard to come by particularly in Australia.
That's why I'm trying my luck here - our Yank counterparts might give me some luck ;)

Anyone with a DA L 35 they're thinking of doing away with?
If so, I'd buy it alone if you're not keen on a kit lens...
(I can always sell the kit lens later)

Item Description
Up for a trade is the best kit lens of them all, the DA 18-55 WR.
This is the weather sealed version of the Mk II kit lens that not only produces sharp results, but has proven to be able to withstand austere conditions without a problem.
This copy is in excellent condition. Glass is clean, zoom function smooth with no play to the barrel. Loved this lens for its practicality, build and light weight. It produced some awesome images for me in my travels (see below).
It is being passed on in favour of the 35mm plastic wonder that I'm after to be the P&S and video lens for my wife (but I'm going to be playing with it also ;)).
So I'm looking for a trade of this weather resistant kit lens for the DA L 35 f/2.4 and will compensate the cost of postage for the lens to be shipped to me (leaving you with a free trade for a weather sealed zoom lens :)).
Comes in original box, front and rear caps and clean lens hood.
