Yes I posted photos of it in the gearporn thread but only with the two Xenars. Only got the other two lenses recently.
I didn't try the tape trick yet but I will give it a try one of these days.

It is a very nice camera to use, big bright viewfinder, clear pop-up frame lines, automatic paralax correction. The rangefinder spot is a little bit harder to focus than the Retina IIa I have though.
I finally took it out for some shooting after cleaning the rangefinder/viewfinder and finding a Schneider Xenon 50/1.9 and a Curtagon 35/2.8 for it to add to the 135/4 Tele Xenar and 50/2.8 Xenar it came with.

Bronica SQ-A, Zenzanon S 105mm f/3.5, Kodak Ektar, 645 Back (I'm not a big Ektar fan but with this yellow low winter light it's not bad).
I sold my Zenzanon PS 150mm to get this Zenzanon S 105mm. I like the focal length more for general shooting, it focusses much closer and has nicer bokeh.
From the info around the web apparently this is one of the nicest lenses built for the SQ system and a great portrait lens.
I still have to try it for portraits but I have to agree it's a very nice lens form the little bit that I've used it.
And one turned into b+w in pp |

Has it, that would be a pity.
Anyway, Macodirect still sells it, and there seems to be still plenty of stock floating around in various places.

Thanks, I also like Provia 400X a lot but I've almost run out. One more half full roll in my Bronica. Have to get me some more.

Thanks, it's not a bad lens by any means but I guess I have been spoiled a bit lately because since I'm comparing it with the other lenses I used lately: the Schneider Xenon on the Retina IIa, The Ultron on the Voigtlander Vitessa, and the 45mm 1.4 on the Lynx 14E. But the GSN lens also does look better to me than the GX one. It's a tad sharper I think but mostly I like the tonality of the GSN better and the lens has some pop for me which the GX one doesn't

Those are very nice!
Yashica Electro 35 GSN, Yashinon 45mm 1.7, Hema 200 Iso color film.
I prefer the shots from the GSN to the ones from the GX, may be sample variation but I have shot with two GX's recently and the lens did not really impress me... |

So many nice pictures again. I really think the photo threads on the film SLR forum here are awesome :)
Yashica Electro 35 GX, Yashinon 40mm 1.7, Hema 200 Iso color film.
Great camera, nice bright viewfinder/rangefinder, great lens... there is just one problem I have with this camera and the Yashica Electro series in general. I just can't get used to cameras that refuse to tell me what speed I'm shooting at...:hmm: |

Same here, I have had both exposed and unexposed film go through the scanner, no problems. I think it's best to take them in your carry on bag though, the scanners they use to scan checked baggage are a different matter.

Absolutely gorgeous shot!
Very nice series
Nice!
I like the last one, nice dynamic feel with the bow wave. And I just posted a Retinette 1A in the Gearpr0n thread :)

Last one is best imo. Nice picture!
Yeah, I was looking for some black tape to bring out the rangefinder spot, I guess a black marker spot would do the trick too.
And you are right about the M lenses, here's a Pentax M 28/2.8 on sony nex3 shot straight into the sun: DSC06200r | Flickr - Photo Sharing!
It's the shadow that makes this picture for me.

The last from my first roll with the Yashica 14e, 45mm f/1.4, Hema 200 ISO film.
Must say I'm impressed with the lens. I need to clean the finder and rangefinder glass though, it's very hard to see the rf spot.
Tomorrow I'm gonna try to scan some of the first roll with the Voigtlander Vitessa.
And some spectacular flare... I think it's the uv filter more than the lens to blame here. And this was with the hood.
Still like the picture though. |

Nice ones, particularly the horses and rainbow!
Nice, my parents used to have a beetle.
Still remember my father driving it up a very steep mountain pass in first gear on the Austrian - Yugoslav border while other cars were being towed up by tractors.
Nice ones!

These are remains of the WWII Atlantikwall defences that the Nazi's erected all along the western European coast to keep the allied forces from invading. You can still find many of these remains, tank defences, bunkers, walls, gun emplacements etc. all along the european coast.
