Thanks Mike for the info! Actually, having seen some of your SV shots gave me the idea of posting mine. What are your recommendations for film? I purchased the Kodak Portra at Henry's and it was a little more expensive then I thought it should be. I shoot mostly landscape and some family.

My first outing with my New-to-me Pentax SV and two Takumar lenses. I used my K10D as a light-meter to determine exposure settings.

I purchased a DA12-24 from TakeshiKovacs on Tuesday and also his spare M42 to K adapter so I had a chance to try my Super Tak 55/1.8 and S-M-C Tak 105/2.8 today. I have to admit that I am astonished at the picture quality of these Taks. I saw the pictures that you all posted so I had my hopes pretty high and I'm not disappointed. I'm especially impressed with the 105/2.8.

These were quick and dirty snaps, no special lighting other than a daylight green-earth bulb.
I should post some of the 100% crops! ( anyone know how to do this in Lightroom? )

New to me S-M-C Takumar 105/2.8. I don't have the adapter yet, a shot of the actual lens will have to do for now :)

You guys are not making my wait any easier! I have a Super Tak 55/1.8 and SMC Tak 105/2.8 waiting at home for me, waiting patiently for me to return from my business trip. Hopefully Henry's has my M42 adapter in.... Can't wait to post pics :)
