I'm going to photograph some motocross tomorrow, and I'll be bringing my K-5 and K-01 with me. I've only had the K-01 since Monday (so 5-6 days now), and I haven't really tested it properly the way I mean to use it for photography, with the LCDVF as a viewfinder and using focus peaking for manual focus lenses. Here are some images I took in my back yard of some leaves and bumblebees. This was to test how this combination is to use, so the pictures might not be the most beautiful ones, but they really show the strength of the K-01 with a very good manual lens (SMC Pentax K 135mm f/2.5). Also, this lens has amazing bokeh and sharpness. I wish Pentax would make this lens again with better coating so there would be less aberrations, and maybe AF if it doesn't break the manual focus feeling of it :)
These pictures are taken at f/2.5 and f/4: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7dmwsjadb889cpk/og08QIM2LK#/ |
