Real agents that represent artists, photographers, models or actors do not charge a fee up front. If or when the agent secures work for their client, the agent receives a percentage of the client's remuneration for that work. The percentage is negiotated before the client signs an agreement with the agent. The incentive for the agent to find work for the client is the percentage the agent will receive for that work. Agora charges a fee up front and is therefore not a real agent. There is no financial incentive for them to get work for you.
This is the same scam pulled on young women looking for work as models or actors. The phony agent charges the women money for the photo portfolio, modelling classes, acting classes, etc. The women never get any work from the "agent".
