Great idea for a thread pjv!
This is an Oak Leaf Roller and will later become a moth. I almost walked into a couple of these last May, they are hanging from tiny silk strands from oak trees. This little guy is probably about 3/4 inch long. I just happened to catch it in the sun witha dark background or never would have seen it.
