Close focus with a K100 and a Minolta 28mm

I've been trying to use my old Minolta lenses on my Pentax cameras. With a Minolta lens you can't focus to infinity due to design of the optics and I have to hold the lens on the camera by hand because the mount for the Minolta is too small for the Pentax. So it's a challenge to use a Minolta lens on the Pentax. However, if you have time to waste and put your mind to it, you can get a shot or 2.

Here are some small flowers from my backyard, shot using a Minolta MD Rokkor-X 28mm f/2.8 on my K100D.
1/250, f/8, iso 800
