The ZF.2 lenses have full support for camera selecting aperture. I suspect the stop-down lever works the same way in ZF lenses, but the absence of chips may restrict what Nikon's fussy cameras are willing to do.
I know that Pentax-A lenses generally have a calibration adjustment for the auto-aperture operation. Clamp screw in a slot with goop securing it.

How about Zeiss offering parts kits to convert ZF or ZE lenses to ZK? I suspect Cosina designed the lenses so that very few parts differ. But perhaps there's a calibration step for the aperture lever?
