I hope you're able to send it back for a repair or replacement.
My 40mm Limited suffered a locked-up focus ring and I've read of other Limiteds suffering the same. The repair cost me around €50, so not an expensive one.

I eventually bought the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 which came out later, but I only got it a couple of years ago. I've used it very little but now that you mention it, I should probably try it with a polarising filter given it's focal range.

We don't see many images from the Tamron10-24mm, I think because when it came out it was regarded as inferior to the Sigma 10-20mm, but these look nice - great colours.

On a side-note, I recently checked the shutter count of my K-3 and it was just shy of 50,000, so after six-and-a-half years it's a quarter of the way through it's life expectancy. Will it last another 19 years..? :)

The first in a little series I did the other day. We bought a canary-yellow table and chairs for our little terrace and I had to find a subject to use them as a backdrop. This one was using the K 35mm f/3.5.

A few test photos with my recently-acquired Tokina 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 AF. It's not a great lens. On film it would probably be adequate as an all-rounder but that's it. It also has some spots in the optics and I'm not sure if they're dust or fungus or something else.

This is an idea I had for a little photography project since I'm trapped at home - taking pictures through the viewfinder of my Yashica Mat 124G. There's no film in the Yashica at the moment but I have some Rollei RPX 400 on the way. I've always liked photos through viewfinders of cameras, whether they're medium format or smaller 35mm SLRs.
K-3 and DA 35mm Limited.

This is cross-posted to the DA limited club but I'm posting here too as it's the 2000th photo in my Flickr K-3 album.
I used my K200D for slightly longer than I've had the K-3 and that album has only 519 photos (although I didn't use Flickr for the whole time I used the K200D).

Taken with the Kiron-made Vivitar 28mm f/2 now that I've had the excess rear flange removed and can mount it on AF K-mount SLRs.
