The Andoer website describes this as "This speedlite is a slave unit, and it cannot be used as a master unit to trigger other speedlite.
So it sounds like you will need to use the pop up flash of your camera to trigger the unit wirelessly (optical trigger), while the flash is OFF the hotshoe. As it is a manual flash you will need to use the controls on the flash to set the output manually.
If you set the flash to manual while on the hotshoe will it not fire ?
If you want to get serious about flash use you would do better getting a unit that can work with your K5 either on or off the hotshoe in P-TTL mode.
