LITTLE KNOWN FACT: While most believe that Pirsig rode a Honda Super Hawk on his ZAMM journey, recent research suggest that it was actually a Ricoh copier with a duplex copying accessory.
But getting that thing "on the pipe" made all the maintenance worth it I bet.

I love the tags that have been created for this thread.
Who can make a sentence using all of them?

Yup, I know about the duck. The screen grab I posted was actually via Chrome's incognito mode, which is probably not perfect but at least the results didn't show the cat videos I've been making with the K-3...

Enjoy! And don't worry, the K-3 will be half price in half a year anyway...

Someone just liked a comment that I made on this thread on Page 2! That was like over 150 pages ago! Is someone just joining the thread and trying to catch up?

This thread now bores me. We need a unicorn, a cute cat, and a puppy.

'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Ricoh.
What's Ricoh? it is nor lens, nor shutter,
Nor prism, nor body, nor any other part
Belonging to a camera. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So K-3 would, were it not K-3 call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which it owes
Without that title. K-3, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.

No, we're talking about a litmus test of purity, as some here seem only willing to purchase 100% pure Pentax cameras.
That, and I'd rather keep my $5 ;)

Brilliant!
$5 to the first person that can post a picture of a "Pentax" camera that has no other corporate name on it!

Funny, that "totally useless feature" is one of the primary reasons I'm getting a K-3. I guess that makes me and everybody else shooting moving pictures nobodies.

Look at the buzz here on the forum now compared to the hand-wringing and beating of chests just a couple of weeks ago and tell me which interpretation makes more sense.

Actually, I think Ricoh just took Pentax off of life support.
