I went back to the first page and SpecialK has a photo of tulips in there, so I guess tulips do fit here. I always think of Hibiscus and Roses when I think of bigger flowers.

True but I think they'd fit in the "in-between" thread better than here.

I didn't think Tulips were considered bigger flowers, Walt. :)

Cosmos here are only about two inches across, maybe even an inch and a half, I wouldn't call those bigger flowers. :)

A macro isn't a bigger flower Tony. LOL
How about this one: A cousin of the Hibiscus, the Rose of Sharon, which is blooming more this year than previous years too because of the cut down large oak tree, that was a large oak tree when I was a child. I used to climb this tree. It had a fork in the middle, and I was able to step up to it, and climb up, on my return after some thirty years later, the fork was too high to reach to step up on. |

Bigger, well sort of, they're not tiny and were shot with the lowly A 50mm f2 on the Blue Knight K-30 @f14. |

Our main Hibiscus bush got damaged in the recent hurricane, and extreme cold here a few months ago. It has just now started putting on new leaves. So, I'm stuck photographing Azaleas and Roses. Here is a cluster of Azaleas I shot a few days ago.

I shot this one outside my bank. It's a planted flower and lots of them. I do not know what they are called but I thought it pretty.
