Got two new (to me) rangefinders recently; a Canon Canonet 28, and a Minolta Hi-Matic E. Planning to get out Saturday and use up some T-Max 100 with them. July 4th I used some Kentmere 100 in a Contax SLR; lots of scratches and dust marks (and drying marks) on the prints and scans but not the negatives :(; I'm going back to the lab I used this spring). The Canon's light seals aren't too good, but a test roll of color came out swell.

Thanks, Nesster. Fellow said he thought it was Agfa film stock, reloaded in the UK for Harman (Ilford). Cute kitty BTW!

Has anyone had much experience with Kentmere 100 and 400? I saw a few images in another thread or two; I spotted both 100 and 400 rolls this afternoon at a shop (alas, to discuss bringing in my ME which has a sticking shutter and also a Yashica with the same ailment) and picked up a few rolls of each.:)

Thanks!

The sky was a bright overcast, so I had a nice big reflector to help with the lighting.

Another from my walk that day. Nikon N2000, Kodak T-Max 400. Decent for what was intended as a parts camera for my brother's N2000.

No PP to the scan; but it is a touch off...realized I posted one image in the series too soon. Other image was on more of an even keel. Both hand-held, while standing on something of a slope along the path. A little fill flash may have helped, but was trekking light that day.

Kodak T-Max 400 (from a new lab, and reduced to 1MB from a high res scan), Nikon N2000, 35-105mm Nikkor, +0.3 and Program at about 40mm...

I like it too. Has a soft, but vintage look intended to last a long while.

I use commercial labs; this roll (as a bugler plays "Taps") was processed by a now closed Calumet Photo shop in Wash. DC in their in-house lab, with a high res scan. Back in college, I did Tri-X in D-76 and Dektol, but now all film goes out.

Careful now, you may get to love doing your own film so much you put the Q on the shelf....;)

I think I may have shot my last BW400CN, but the T-Max will be my fave from here on.
When it warms up and the cherry blossoms bloom in DC, I've plans to shot all film then.
(Well, and my K-5...).

T-MAX 400 is a very forgiving film for me, lots of latitude...even the crow that was near the top of one tree was captured.
It captured the shadows well, but the whites (actually, sort of off white) of the buildings didn't wash out. The Maxxum
70D I believe may have been the last film Minolta introduced, so all the goodies they had at their disposal for metering, etc. were plunked into it. I changed positions a couple of times, that view looked good and the camera and film came through. Think it was Aperture Priority at f11, and at 24mm.

Not sure if I've posted this one before; not bad for a $20 Ebay (with shipping) buy.

Yashica Ninja Star II point and shoot, Kodak BW400CN. Looks better a little smaller, low res scan...[COLOR="Silver"]

Thanks, Steve..that was from my first roll of b&w with that combo, taken in late October 2013 at Mount Vernon, VA.

It was a beautiful day when I took this; reduced from 2MB other wise straight from the scanned image CD. Minolta Maxxum 70D, 24-135 Tamron, T-Max 400. The print was gorgeous!

Not 10 minutes ago I'd told myself I've enough Contaxes (137, 139, Aria, NX), now I want a G2. Very nice.
