...and the aperture ring (if present) must be in the "A" position. :eek:
I believe the intent is to ensure that the lens is set to infinity focus with a narrow aperture to better outline any dust that might be present.

What lens? Dust alert requires that an AF lens be mounted. (This is in the K-3II manual, but we will let it slide this time. :p )
