32GB RAM arrived yesterday for my PC:
Would love to plug it directly into my K-1, which needs more RAM too, but alas.

Pentax K-AC132 AC adapter clone for the K-1. Also works on the K-3 and K-5. AUD $34 delivered via eBay. Should be useful (but another non-standard, non USB plug to deal with :( ). Works fine, original Pentax version is $99 and out of stock at the distributor.

Indeed. The wireless power concept is a nice move towards eliminating multiple plugs and cables and is already there to a limited extent, with some inductive phone chargers doing 15W wirelessly I see, (albeit not via WiFi). Next step: 240V 10 Amps over WiFi :) No need for wall-plugs or power-boards around the house anymore.

There is hope for simplification. WiFi has absorbed many a USB, Parallel port and even audio/video cable plug around home and office, not to mention many a network cable. Now it just needs to be able to transfer power ...

A 7 inch field monitor. I always wanted one for video and macro. This Lilliput A7s is very well featured for the price (AUD$180):
My first [learner model] electronic gimbal (Zhiyun Smooth Q). It's designed for smart-phone video stabilization, and it does a good job at that, but I also hope to figure out a way to make it stabilize my RX-100:

My first action camera.
I wanted something compact to mount on camera to record incidental video sometimes, alongside stills, when shooting events. The GoPro Hero Session was the most compact action camera option available. The WiFi app to control the camera is great, and the number of 3rd party GoPro mounts and accessories is incredible.

Thankfully there is eBay. I recently had to replace the hard drive on a 2003 NEC laptop I keep around - 5 minutes searching and $50 later a new Fujitsu HDD identical to the original was on it's way to me from somewhere in Taiwan. Ditto with it's proprietary lithium battery.
