While on vacation by the sea I remembered that it had been a while since I had taken the 15 for a stroll. Vesterhavet by Torben Frylund, on Flickr

Been a while since I shot with the 15 but this month I am shooting it every day in the single challenge. This thread is truly a great inspiration! |

Yes indeed, it is quite doable with the build in bubble level on the k5 after that all it takes is a bit of practice. The two row panorama does not pan every time though.

Tip of the day: The DA15 is easy to hand hold for panorama images. This is a stitch of 8 images in two rows. Who needs a 645D for large files *grin* Forest pond 5 - panorama two rows by Frylund, on Flickr

Hey Joe! It sure did. I think that the focal length takes some time getting used to. It is like a complex piece of music. At first you can't make heads or tails of it but after the twentieth time it starts to make sense. I think the title of this thread says it all :-). The 21 is still my favourite though for running around the house shooting the family. The best thing about _all_ the DA limited lenses are their size. The worst is: Who gets to be on the camera? *grin*

Have any of you got a body just for the DA 15? I am seriously thinking about it.
It does windmills.... |

I agree with mkvlln, it is really good at panoramas. I find it very easy to do handhold because it covers such a large view angle, so any accidental movement does not matter that much.

I am still trying to get a feeling for the focal length. This thread is a great source of inspiration! |
